Share your paper with us

Thanks for sharing your ideas and hard work with us

  • Send your research ASAP, even before endorsements or your paper is finalized, so we can plan fun, creative resources to help share your work
  • We welcome independent researchers, preprints, replication studies, data analysis, shorter articles, and research in non-technical fields
  • For now, Enlightain hosts and shares research rather than acting as a formal scholarly publisher
  • Papers with fewer than 10,000 words and 15 or fewer figures are much more likely to move through the platform quickly, especially human-written work with endorsements
  • Authors remain accountable for the integrity of their submissions. Substantiated cases of research misconduct may be publicly documented in the interests of transparency
  • You can help shape how your paper is presented by proposing your own synopsis and banner design to help people engage with your research
  • Submitting your paper does not give us permission to release it. Once you approve its release, you grant us the right to distribute the submitted copy openly in perpetuity

Paper ZIP pick one (max 30 MB)

How to organise your ZIP

  • Include a tex/ or typst/ project. Use main.tex or main.typ as the entry file. Include all source dependencies, figures, and bibliography files.
  • Do not include a PDF with your submission. If you created the document in a tool like MS Word or Canva, consider asking an AI agent to convert the document to tex or typst format and compare the rendered pages pixel by pixel against the original
  • We strongly prefer vector files, like SVGs, over raster images or media, such as PNGs, JPEGs, WEBMs, or AVIFs, in your source. Even if a chart requires raster features, like a spectrogram with hundreds of colours, consider embedding the spectrogram's centre as a raster image within the vector file, so that titles, labels, and other features remain vectors.
  • Put square JPEG, PNG, or AVIF author photos in authors/. Name them {Surname}-{Other Names}-{Preferred First Name}_{institution-domain-url}.{jpg,png,avif}, preserving the author's spelling and capitalization. Use hyphens between names and the institution's domain without https://; for example, DeVault-Jane-Elizabeth-Jane_example.edu.png. This photo will replace any photo previously used for that author
  • Include an endorsements/ folder with one .txt file per endorser. Put their institutional email address on the first line and their name on the second. Including endorsements helps speed up getting your paper onto our platform.
  • Put other figures, data, media, and supporting materials in assets/. Keep working source-project paths intact.

This is a summary line to encourage readers to read your paper, rather than an abstract within it. Usually, aim for at most 300 characters: explain why the research matters and what new or interesting findings you uncovered.
